Schedule an instructional class for your troup:
1. Make It with Clay.
With an instructor’s help, you will practice making a pinch pot and slab tile, both of which you will keep.
2. Coil Up!
With an instructor’s help, you make a coil cup, which you will keep.
3. Handle with Care
As we work on making the projects in 1 & 2, your instructor will teach you how to handle the clay.
a) How to store and reclaim unfired pieces of clay
b) How to begin working with clay by wedging it
c) How to properly store work in progress
d) How to use slip and score method
4. Time for Tiles
With an instructors help, you will take the slab tile you created in step one and decorate it.
5. Fuel and Fire
When you are all done with your projects, your instructor will take the group into the kiln room and explain how the kilns work and other types of firing methods.
6. Grin and Glaze it!
While you decorate your coil cup and pinch pot with glaze, your instructor will explain the different types of glazes.
This is a great class and the girls will learn a lot about clay.
All of this in 1 visit and their 3 pieces will be ready to pick up in 2 weeks.

$30 per participating child
2 week advance reservation
Minimum of six (6) participating girls
$30 deposit, which is applied to the cost of the party
